Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
One month of related experience or equivalent education and training
Ability to read and write standard English
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to comprehend instructions and perform basic math operations
Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in varying weather
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
Customer service knowledge
Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
Skill in performing parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
Use proper phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while assisting guests with luggage and bell services
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
Explain parking rates and procedures, issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
Calculate and collect revenue when necessary
