Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or commutable distance
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to read and write in English
- ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions
- ability to perform basic arithmetic involving money
- physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- availability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and multiple shifts as required
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- math skills to perform operations using American money
- understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- ability to perform parallel parking
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge guests with a professional and friendly demeanor
- park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and promptly
- assist guests with luggage delivery and pick up during arrival and departure
- provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- explain parking rates and vehicle retrieval procedures to guests
- collect claim checks and maintain accurate ticket and payment records
- shuttle guests to approved locations as needed
