Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- One month of related experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand and apply parking rates and time systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work weekdays on 2nd shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to effectively present information to guests and colleagues
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable parking rates
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use appropriate salutations and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and facility doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and facility information
- Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks
- Complete and maintain ticket information accurately
- Calculate and collect revenue for valet services when needed
