Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or sit for extended periods
  • ability to work second shift on weekdays
  • willing to work primarily outdoors and adapt to weather conditions
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to operate a vehicle safely including parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • understanding of parking rates
  • ability to operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
  • use guest last names during interactions
  • practice proper phone etiquette
  • park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • assist guests with bell services and luggage storage when needed
  • open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations and other inquiries
  • inform guests about facility amenities and local attractions
  • deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • shuttle guests to approved locations
  • explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • issue and collect claim checks securely
  • complete and maintain accurate ticket records including vehicle details and damage surveys
  • calculate and collect revenue when needed
