Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and write to understand oral and written instructions
- Must learn to operate a manual transmission upon hire
- Must have near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception when driving vehicles
- Must always be clean neat and professional in appearance
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with four or fewer points
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Good physical condition to perform job duties safely
Job Qualifications

- Capability to learn to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Visual acuity including near and far vision, depth, and spatial perception for safe driving
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with four or fewer points
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors with vehicles when arriving or departing from the hospital
- Assist patients and visitors into and out of vehicles as needed, with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Receive cars from staff or visitors, drive to assigned parking areas, and return vehicles upon request in a safe and timely manner
- Examine each valet car for dents or scratches and note damage on valet tickets prior to parking
- Issue and accurately complete valet tickets, ensuring proper accounting and use
- Treat all vehicles with care, abstaining from speeding, careless use, or mistreatment
- Inform leader or supervisor of any changes or restrictions in driving license privileges
- Maintain and be responsible for all equipment and supplies necessary to perform duties
- Perform other related duties as required
