Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- ability to read and write to understand oral and written instructions
- willingness to learn to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- must have near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception
- must possess ability to lift at least 50 lbs

- willingness to learn to operate a manual transmission vehicle upon hire
- near and far visual acuity, depth perception and spatial perception when driving vehicles
Job Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors with vehicles when arriving or departing from the hospital
- assist patients and visitors into and out of vehicles as needed, with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- receive cars from staff or visitors, drive to assigned parking area and return when requested safely and efficiently
- examine each valet car received for any dents or scratches, noting damage on valet ticket and reporting to leader prior to parking
- issue valet tickets accurately to patients and visitors and turn them into the appropriate drop area
- account for all tickets issued and ensure proper use
- treat all vehicles with care, avoiding speeding, careless use, squealing wheels, or mistreatment
- inform leader, supervisor, or manager of any changes or restrictions in driving license privileges
- be responsible for all equipment and supplies necessary to perform responsibilities
- perform other related duties as required
