Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- One to three months related customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience without high school diploma or GED
- Cashier or cash handling experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Must be able to read and write standard English language
- Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions correspondence and memos
- Must be able to write simple correspondence
- Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Ability to perform calculations using units of American money weight measurement volume and distance
Job Duties
- Maintains pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names and salutation of the day
- Practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette assisting guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries
- Provides information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and main local attractions
- Collects and reconciles revenue and furnishes receipts upon request
- Accurately categorizes tickets for audit purposes and completes detailed shift reports
- Operates register gate and credit card machine
- Identifies and collects revenue for overnight vehicles not charged
- Maintains claim checks guest folio archives and produces vehicle key inventory for billing
- Maintains clean neat work environment including cashier booth parking areas and trash receptacles
- Collects claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys and checks keys for vehicle location and damage survey
