Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be able to sit for upwards of 8 hours frequently
- must be able to walk and stand for upwards of 8 hours occasionally when working in the ramp
- ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
- must be or become TIPS certified
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, and peripheral vision
- physical ability to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- weekend availability required

- related experience is preferred
- TIPS or other alcohol safety certification is preferred
- ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- strong customer service skills

- basic knowledge of cash register operations
Job Duties
- Maintain a cash register and credit card devices
- provide a safe working environment
- understand, follow and maintain AHC guest service standards
- inspect airlock and motor lobby to ensure area is always neat and clean
- attend departmental meetings
- follow AHC handbook policies and standard operating procedures
- actively work and look for ways to assist guests and provide excellent guest service
- ensure quality and level of service meet company standards and guest expectations
- read or listen to Smart Starts
- read and understand all memos related to the valet parking department
- use other AHC hotels and staff as resources
- obtain or maintain TIPS certification
- complete all daily responsibilities and cleaning task list
- actively monitor motor lobby for guests arrival
- ensure guest satisfaction on arrival and departure
- maintain airlock and motor lobby cleanliness and deep cleaning
- follow hotel green policies
- ensure trash and recyclables are taken out
- keep cashier booths vacuumed and clean
- work collaboratively with valet staff following all departmental rules
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
