Job Requirements
- Applicant must be 21 years of age
- valid driver’s license issued in the state of Florida
- clean driving record for the last 3 years
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in driving, hospitality, or bell person roles preferred
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- ability to deal with internal and external customers with patience and diplomacy
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- ability to operate vehicles with automatic and standard transmissions
- physical ability to lift luggage weighing up to 75 pounds
- ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, and walking
Job Duties
- Operate vehicles using safe driving practices to ensure safe delivery to and from the parking garage
- ticket vehicles with guest name, room number, license, and make/model, noting any damages
- follow procedures for car control and maintain accurate logs of keys and parking activities
- greet and thank guests using clear and pleasant communication
- respond to guest inquiries about local attractions, car rentals, and hotel services
- assist guests with taxi services, wheelchair requests, and parking options
- answer valet phone promptly using positive communication and arrange parking and bell services
- assist in opening car doors and handling luggage to facilitate smooth valet area traffic flow
- communicate effectively with guests and team members
- maintain a clean and organized valet area
- adhere to all safety and security procedures
