Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- applicant must be 21 years of age and have a valid drivers' license issued in the state of Florida
- license holder must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to lift up to 50-80 pounds
- flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a driver, in hospitality or as a bell person preferred
- valid and clean driver's license from the state of Florida
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing English
- ability to maintain alert and attentive demeanor
- ability to access and accurately input and organize information into record keeping systems
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle using safe driving practices to ensure safe delivery of vehicle to and from the parking garage
- ticket vehicle, writing guest name, room number, car license, and make/model
- note any damage to vehicle on the ticket
- follow procedures for car control including maintaining neat, accurate logs of keys and completing required valet parking log sheets and reports
- retrieve information on guest vehicles and claim checks
- greet and thank guests, using a clear, pleasant voice
- respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding directions to local attractions, car rentals, and more
- assist guests with taxi services, wheelchair requests, and parking options
- promptly answer valet phone using positive and clear English communication
- verbally arrange and confirm parking valet requests from guests and make appropriate arrangements for bell desk services
- respond accurately to general inquiries regarding hotel services and attractions
- assist in opening car doors and unloading/loading luggage to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the valet area, issuing claim tickets and tagging bags as needed
- communicate effectively with guests and team members
- maintain a clean and organized valet area
- follow all safety and security procedures
