Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand and follow simple instructions
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to understand time rate calculations
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to assist with luggage handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or commutable area
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations involving money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use correct phone etiquette and welcome guests to the location
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservations, and facility amenities
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks and collect keys responsibly
- Maintain accurate parking and ticket information including damage surveys and key tags
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
