Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to understand simple instructions and correspondences
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and small groups
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time formats
  • Ability to understand time-based rates
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather
  • Availability to work Monday through Sunday schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within commutable distance
  • One month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates and time-based charges
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services, luggage storage and open vehicle and hotel doors
  • Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks ensuring vehicle keys are handled properly
  • Complete and maintain all ticket and damage survey information
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
