Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- At least one month of related experience or training
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to follow simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to perform basic math operations with money
- Ability to understand time systems and rates
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work Monday through Sunday
- Ability to operate a manual transmission (preferred)
- Ability to perform parallel parking safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates related to time
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
