Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform arithmetic with money
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to provide customer service with a friendly demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform arithmetic involving American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using proper salutations and last names
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, and information about amenities and local attractions
- Explain parking rates and procedures, issue and collect claim checks, complete and maintain vehicle ticket information
- Calculate and collect revenue as needed
