Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's using American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage including opening vehicle and hotel doors
  • Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to appropriate approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
