Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of time systems and parking rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Capability to perform parallel parking
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work Friday through Sunday from 3 PM to 11 PM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with 10s and 100s
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks appropriately
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
