Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable state
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to understand different time systems
  • Ability to drive cautiously
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable state
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American currency
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner including guest last names
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations and information about facilities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities promptly
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue and collect claim checks after receiving and returning vehicle keys
  • Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect parking fees when needed
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
