Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable state
- One month related experience or training or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to understand different time systems
- Ability to drive cautiously
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable state
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American currency
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner including guest last names
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations and information about facilities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities promptly
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue and collect claim checks after receiving and returning vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking fees when needed
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
