Job Requirements

Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within commutable distance
Open availability
Ability to safely park and retrieve vehicles
Ability to assist guests with luggage handling
Friendly and professional demeanor
Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic math and communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English language
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's using American money units
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles safely
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to returning keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
