Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or equivalent education and training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Ability to understand and use 24-hour and military time
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicle (preferred)
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Effective one-on-one and small group communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American currency
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Knowledge of applicable parking rates and procedures
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly manner and guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to location
- Practice proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved destinations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
