Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applying to work or within commutable distance
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, run, climb stairs and perform physical activities required for the role
- Availability for open schedule including weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic math operations with American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- Ability to understand applicable rates to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Display proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect them prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
