Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state or commutable area
  • Minimum one month of related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability for open scheduling
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles including possibly manual transmission

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to parking time
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet with professionalism and friendliness
  • Use guests' last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and building doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
