Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including money units
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • knowledge of rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
  • knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • ability to read, write and comprehend simple English correspondence
  • effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money units
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • knowledge of applicable parking rates
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • greet guests within five feet using last names and salutations
  • post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • shuttle guests to approved locations
  • explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • issue claim checks after vehicle receipt
  • collect claim checks prior to key issuance
  • maintain ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations and damage surveys
  • calculate and collect parking revenue when required
