Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Ability to understand time systems and rate calculations
  • Willingness to work Monday through Sunday
  • Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and operational instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks from guests before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
