Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read write and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Understanding of time systems and applicable rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to talk hear sit stand walk run climb kneel crouch and perform other physical activities as required
- Ability to travel up to 5 percent as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests clients and other employees
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
