Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • Minimum one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to read write and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
  • Understanding of time systems and applicable rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to talk hear sit stand walk run climb kneel crouch and perform other physical activities as required
  • Ability to travel up to 5 percent as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests clients and other employees
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
