Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in person
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Understanding of applicable parking rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division involving money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly manner
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect vehicle parking revenue when needed
