Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to understand instructions and time systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission desirable
- Physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work part-time weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly language and use guest last names
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed, including opening all vehicle and hotel doors
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and information about amenities and local attractions
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket and key tag information accurately, perform damage surveys, and calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
