Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality industry or guest/customer service
  • Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass an MVR background test
  • Ability to pass airport security clearance
  • No arrest record within the last 10 years
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently
  • Ability to move luggage in and out of customer vehicles
  • Availability to work 24 hours per week on a part-time schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or guest/customer service
  • Experience in parking industry is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass airport security clearance
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and listening skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service and customer care

Job Duties

  • Greet arriving guests and provide courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking service
  • Check and notify guests of pre-existing damage to their vehicles
  • Record guest names, vehicle information, and secure guest keys for parking
  • Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
  • Inspect vehicles for overall condition, noting any dents, missing parts, or distinguishing features
  • Identify vehicle designated parking location and provide guest with vehicle claim check
  • Report issues or potential problems affecting guest vehicle security and avoid traffic congestion and delays
  • Understand legal ramifications related to valet service actions
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Respond to emergency situations when requested
  • Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service
  • Respond effectively to guest inquiries
  • Resolve guest complaints within authority or escalate to management
  • Notify supervisor or security of unusual events or alleged theft
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of valet area
  • Quote prices for parking services and collect payment
  • Utilize a golf cart to assist customers with bags from parking lot to terminal
  • Occasionally work at Public Information Desk
