Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or above
- Must obtain and maintain registration or license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
- Must have a Massachusetts driver’s license
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, stretching, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to lift or maneuver at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work varying schedules reflecting business needs
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions including varying weather and noise levels
- Must follow all safety and personal protection equipment protocols
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and employees
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Culinary arts, hospitality, or related education or experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals
- Conversational English required, second language a plus
- Ability to write instructions and present information
- Basic mathematical ability including computations and report interpretation
Job Duties
- Ensure all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied
- Participate in short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness and implement improvements
- Follow internal policies, federal and state laws, regulations, and property-wide controls
- Provide a maximum level of property-wide service and guest satisfaction
- Follow company security and vehicle validation procedures
- Operate and park automatic and stick shift vehicles
- Handle cash transactions according to procedures
- Maintain safety standards within the department and company
- Keep informed of industry developments through continuing education and training
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
