Job Duties
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- Assist guests with luggage to their rooms promptly when checking in and upon checking out
- Hail taxicabs and answer questions
- Provide guests with general hotel information in their rooms
- Assist guests by taking luggage to the curb to meet their transportation
- Remove trash and keep the lobby area clean between housekeeping runs
- Provide general assistance to guests when Concierge is unavailable
- Be knowledgeable of the community and local area to inform guests about special events
- Submit all lost and found articles with reports
- Function as a doorperson when needed
- Deliver faxes, messages, packages, flowers, wine, and other items to guest rooms
- Ensure the "white zone" is kept clear for guest arrivals and emergencies
- Notify guests by telephone about delivery of automobiles, packages, or visitors
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
