Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
One month related experience or training or equivalent education
Ability to provide customer and personal services
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Strong communication skills
Basic math skills
Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
Ability to perform safe vehicle parking and retrieval
Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes of customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using American money units
Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
