Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • Ability to talk and hear
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to run, walk, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
  • Availability to work 2-4 days per week between Wednesday and Saturday from 2:30 PM to 11 PM
  • Travel up to 5% may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities of the facility and main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved destinations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
