Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors
  • Willingness to work between 6 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday
  • Ability to perform duties safely and efficiently
  • Ability to operate a vehicle, manual transmission preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates based on time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, and reservations
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain ticket information including key tags, folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue as needed
