Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to understand time and rate systems
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday full-time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied for or a commutable distance from the state
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and nearby attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, location of vehicles, damage surveys and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
