Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent education
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to present information clearly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division involving American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper company phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location and damage survey
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
