Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver's license
  • one month related experience or training
  • ability to read and write English
  • basic math skills
  • ability to understand and follow instructions
  • physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • availability to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • valid driver's license for the state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with money units
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • understanding of rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • practice proper phone etiquette
  • post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
  • assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • provide information on outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • shuttle guests to approved locations
  • explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • complete all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculate and collect revenue when needed
