Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information to small groups and individuals
- Mathematical ability with American money units
- Understanding of time systems and parking rate structures
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and maintain physical stamina
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
- Ability to travel up to 5% as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests, clients, and employees
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates and time applicable charges
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Skill in performing parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with luggage delivery and pick up
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue and collect claim checks consistently and accurately
- Provide guests with information about facility amenities, local attractions, and directions
