Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information to small groups and individuals
  • Mathematical ability with American money units
  • Understanding of time systems and parking rate structures
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and maintain physical stamina
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to guests, clients, and employees
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates and time applicable charges
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Skill in performing parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional hospitality to guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with luggage delivery and pick up
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue and collect claim checks consistently and accurately
  • Provide guests with information about facility amenities, local attractions, and directions
