Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state applied to work or within commutable distance
  • Ability to talk or hear as required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as running, walking, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts
  • Ability to follow established practices and procedures
  • Ability to work under frequent supervision and verification
  • Ability to make decisions within specific operational guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket and vehicle information including damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
