Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to perform vehicle parking duties safely and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts from 9am to 5:30pm or 10:30am to 7pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor and guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location while practicing proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully while assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue when necessary
  • Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicle
