Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
- one month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- ability to read, write and comprehend English
- basic math skills including operations with American money
- understanding of 24 hour and military time
- understanding of applicable parking rates
- physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
- willingness to work outdoors in variable weather
- open availability including weekends
- ability to operate a manual transmission preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
- ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
- uses guest last names during interactions
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provides information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
- delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to approved locations
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
- collects claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculates and collects revenue for vehicles as needed
