Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • valid driver’s license for the applicable state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • basic math skills including operations with American money
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • understanding of applicable parking rates
  • physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • willingness to work outdoors in variable weather
  • open availability including weekends
  • ability to operate a manual transmission preferred

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
  • uses guest last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
  • delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to approved locations
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • collects claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculates and collects revenue for vehicles as needed
