Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the state or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic math operations involving money
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist with directions, taxis, reservations, and provide facility and local information
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tags, guest folios, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
