Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Valid driver’s license for state applied to or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to understand instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
  • Basic arithmetic skills with money handling
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • Understanding of applicable rates
  • Manual transmission operation preferred
  • Ability to parallel park

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including operations with American currency
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Deliver messages items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to appropriate places that are approved by the location
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio location of vehicle damage survey and claim check receipt for all vehicles taken into the valet system
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
