Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to read, write, and understand standard English
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Ability to work full time with open availability
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money units
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use proper salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and assist guests with luggage service
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxi arrangements, reservations, and inquiries about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue claim checks upon receiving vehicle keys and collect them prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect vehicle revenue when necessary
