Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to lift and move luggage and equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Knowledge of local area attractions and hotel amenities
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely and follow traffic laws
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and use of PPE
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Attention to detail and reliability

Job Duties

  • Opens doors and assists guests/visitors entering and leaving property
  • Monitors and directs personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property to ensure legal parking and smooth traffic flow
  • Parks vehicles efficiently and properly tags vehicles with accurate guest information
  • Maintains security of vehicles and vehicle keys
  • Communicates parking procedures to guests/visitors
  • May drive passengers from hotel to destinations according to schedule while obeying traffic laws
  • Loads and unloads guest luggage and equipment
  • Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority and refers to management if necessary
  • Notifies supervisor and/or Security of unusual events or alleged theft
  • Notifies management of problems from guest complaints or disruptive behavior
  • Follows safety policies and procedures, reports safety issues and takes immediate action in emergencies
  • Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and reports defective PPE
  • Maintains compliance with hotel’s Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) program
  • Reports to work on time and regularly
  • Monitors and maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas
  • Reports vehicles/safety hazards and potential security problems
  • Maintains cleanliness of transportation vehicles
  • Supplies guests with directions and information on amenities and local attractions
  • Notifies management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance, and accidents
