Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
- valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- ability to read and write standard english language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information to guests and team members
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with american money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- ability to understand parking rates and procedures
- ability to operate a manual transmission
- ability to perform parallel parking

- knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- ability to read and write standard english language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10s and 100s using american money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- practice proper phone etiquette
- post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- deliver messages, items and guest amenities
- shuttle guests to approved locations
- explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculate and collect revenue for vehicles
