Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree
Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to guests and employees
Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving American money
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
Ability to understand applicable parking rates
Ability to safely operate a vehicle, manual transmission preferred
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must hold a valid driver s license for the state applied to work or within commutable distance
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction and multiplication with units of American money
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly manner
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and/ or guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys and claim check receipts
Calculate and collect revenue when needed
