Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for state of employment or nearby state
  • Minimum one month related experience or equivalent education and training
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to understand time systems and parking rates
  • Physical capability to exert significant force and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stooping
  • Willingness to work Friday 4pm-2am and Saturday 2pm-2am shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and general inquiries
  • Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks before returning keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when required
  • Consistently complete location information on all key tags after parking vehicles
