Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations related to cash handling
- Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold valid driver’s license for the applicable state or a commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money units
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Knowledge of applicable rates for time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professionalism
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide guests with information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
