Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training
- Knowledge of customer service principles and personal services
- Ability to read write and comprehend English
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand walk lift and handle objects
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely including manual transmission preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use appropriate salutations and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions taxis reservations and information about amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue and collect claim checks according to established procedures
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags guest folios vehicle locations damage surveys and claim checks
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
