Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money units
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand rate-based charges
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (preferred)
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to understand simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about local outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
