Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and write English
  • ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • ability to present information effectively in small group situations
  • ability to operate manual transmission vehicles highly desirable
  • ability to perform parallel parking
  • ability to exert physical effort including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • availability to work part-time Monday to Friday 7am-1pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
  • ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
  • ability to perform these operations using units of American money
  • ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to perform parallel parking
  • valid driver’s license recommended
  • experience in a related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • park and retrieve vehicles driving slowly and cautiously
  • assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • deliver messages and guest amenities
  • shuttle guests to approved locations
  • explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
