Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
- one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and write English
- ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- ability to present information effectively in small group situations
- ability to operate manual transmission vehicles highly desirable
- ability to perform parallel parking
- ability to exert physical effort including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- availability to work part-time Monday to Friday 7am-1pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
- ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to perform parallel parking
- valid driver’s license recommended
- experience in a related field preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- park and retrieve vehicles driving slowly and cautiously
- assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- deliver messages and guest amenities
- shuttle guests to approved locations
- explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- collect claim checks before issuing keys
- complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
